Wayfinder 2017 Summer Day Camps in the Hudson Valley : UNISON Day Camp Week 1
Jul 10 @ 9:00 am – Jul 14 @ 1:00 pm

Imagine a world where heroes and villains engage in a never-ending battle between good and evil, where the laughter of faeries is echoed by the roar of dragons, where powers exist that can raise the dead, heal the wounded, and harm the living, where oracles prophesize and rogues slip quietly into the night…

At Wayfinder summer camps, we teach a decades-tested core curriculum of theatrical skills, athletic play, and community awareness which is interwoven into a culminating Adventure Game– a chance for participants to explore imaginary worlds with new perspectives and new identities.  Over the years, our brand of fantasy roleplaying has proven itself to be a powerful tool for self-exploration, as well as for building confidence, empathy, communication and leadership skills.

Our unique programming demonstrates the power of respect and positive relationships, that there is cooperation even in competition, and that everyone is more capable than they think they are.

Some of the themes that have made their way into his pieces are the geometrical and emotional persistence of memory, the reconciliation of traditional religious motifs with modern formal styles, and, especially in collages, the chaos and refraction of both sexual and spiritual longing.
Please join us this Sunday, September 3rd from 4-6 for a wine and cheese reception at the Unison Gallery!
