Michael Gold is a street photographer on fire with a hungry eye and insatiable appetite for the unexpected, eccentric and quirky, without restriction. He was a fine arts major, paying homage to the great masters, and then traveled on in other directions where the only footprints have been his own, as were theirs when they, too, were on fire. Jacques Lipchitz, the noted sculptor, told him to “Know thy fathers and then follow no one.” It’s the only path that Michael continuously follows.
“Keepers” features eclectic, quirky photos, landscapes and people, taken all over the East Coast, including some from the Hudson Valley, Sullivan County, Key West, Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, New York City, Brooklyn, Saugerties, the Hamptons and Kingston.
This show is on display from June 1 – June 29.
