Keum Won Chang
collaged drawings and monotypes

My current body of work consists of a series of collaged drawings and monotypes of mixed media. The pieces do not have a single source of inspiration, rather they stem from a vocabulary of abstract or figurative marks, textures, forms, and symbols gathered over an extended period of time and incorporating a wide range of experiences from direct observation of the natural world (the sky, waters and vegetation) and dreams.

Keum Won Chang has had sole exhibitions in Korea and the US several times since 1985. She teaches Duksung University in Seoul Korea and lives in US part of the year.
