Photographing the Nude in Nature and the Studio
with Dan McCormack

This workshop for beginning to advanced photographers will begin with photographing the nude in the Unison Sculpture Garden, working with soft, late day sunlight. We will then take a break for dinner and then continue in the studio photographing the nude with "hot lights," and shooting with props. Each photographer will take turns directing the model and they will have priority in getting their shot, but others can shoot from different angles as long as they are courteous and do not interfere with the pose. Please be sure to bring a dish to share for a potluck during the short meal break between the outdoor and the studio sessions.

Bring camera, many rolls of film, extra batteries, extra memory card, tripod and props that might be interesting for the model to work with: fabric, hats boots and deer skulls are favorites of McCormack's.

Dan McCormack is the head of the Photography Department at Marist College and specializes in multiple frame imagery.
