Eternal Guerrero: A Journey in Color

is a deeply personal exploration of Kai Navarrete’s roots and his ongoing quest for self-discovery. Blending traditional techniques with contemporary interpretations, Eternal Guerrero is a tribute to Kai’s heritage, using pigments crafted from organic earth materials to celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of his homeland.

Aurora De Armendi Sobrino’s watercolors begin by repeating and overlapping forms that appear in the artist’s mind or are inspired by memories of the land she has inhabited. She lets the imagery evolve in the process of drawing, exploring color combinations and different ways of making marks on the paper.
