I Am Me And You

I Am Me and You is a contemporary photography exhibition showcasing the work of SUNY New Paltz students enrolled in Contemporary Ideas in Photography.

Every aspect of this exhibition—from concept to realization—was created by the students. The central theme of identity is explored in profoundly personal ways, with each artist examining aspects of culture, heritage, gender, race, trauma, inner worlds, and societal expectations.

Visitors will experience a wide range of photographic styles and installation formats, including collaborative collages.

The opening reception on Thursday, December 12th, from 5–7 PM, invites guests to meet the artists, engage in meaningful dialogue about the works, and enjoy food and refreshments. A publication featuring the exhibited works will also be available during the exhibition.
