Bloom and The B2’s are Community Voice Ensembles founded and directed by Musician, Composer, Choral Director and Songleader Debbie Lan. Started in 2007 with the only requirement being a love of singing, Bloom has grown to 55 voices.
Both Bloom and The B2’s have performed at many local venues and events, such as Unison Arts Center, The Stone Ridge Library Fair, The Rosendale Street Festival, The Rail Trail Cafe, Mohonk Mountain House Music Week and The Rosendale Farmers Market.
Perennial is a new voice ensemble who are excited to be the special guest of the evening!
The ensembles sing a variety of original arrangements of uplifting, joyful and timely songs, including Shosholoza, a traditional miners song from South Africa by Masingita Ngoveni, Keep Me in Your Heart by Warren Zevon, I Am Light by Indie Arie, Crowded Table by The Highwomen, Calling All Angels by Jane Siberry and Hey What’s Up by 4 Non Blondes amongst others.
