Tuition: $200 Unison members • $240 non-members.
Eight weeks to explore the principles of music and create your own instrument.
This unique workshop offers children the opportunity to explore music in a fun and educational way by learning to create their own instruments using recycled materials. Over the course of 8 sessions, participants will learn the basic elements of music (such as rhythm, melody, harmony, dynamics, and timbre) while designing, building, and playing their own instruments. At the end of the workshop, the children will present a mini-concert using the instruments they created, sharing what they’ve learned with their families and friends.

Este taller único, ofrece a los niños y niñas la oportunidad de explorar la música de una forma divertida y educativa, aprendiendo a crear sus propios instrumentos a partir de materiales reciclados. Durante las 8 sesiones, los participantes aprenderán sobre los elementos básicos de la música (como ritmo, melodía, armonía, dinámica y timbre) mientras diseñan, construyen y tocan sus propios instrumentos. Al final del taller, los niños presentarán un mini concierto utilizando los instrumentos creados, en el que compartirán lo aprendido con sus familias y amigos.
